Your answers, scores and bookmarks never leave this device. There is no account, no sign-up and no login, and no copy of your study record exists on any server. We cannot see how you are doing, because we are never told.
The iOS and Android apps show advertisements, which is what keeps the app free. That part does involve Google, and it is set out in full under *Advertising* below. There is still no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking pixel. The website carries no advertising at all.
Who is responsible
This app is made and operated by Ronaldo Roy, an independent developer based in Vicenza, Italy, who is the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
Questions about this policy: info@ronaldoroy.com.
What is kept on your device
The app stores the following in your browser's or the app's local storage. None of it is a personal identifier, and none of it is readable by us.
- prawko2026 — Your language, licence category and bookmarked question numbers.
- prawko2026.progress — Which question numbers you answered right or wrong, and the dates you studied.
- prawko2026.history — Your last 100 session results: score, mode, category, duration.
- prawko2026.theme — Light, dark or system appearance.
- prawko2026.ads — Mobile app only: when you last saw a full-screen ad, how many sessions you have finished, and whether a reward's ad-free period is running.
What leaves your device
None of your study data. Not one answer, score, bookmark or streak. The app's own requests are only ever for content: the question catalogue, and the photographs and clips some questions show. In the installed app the catalogue is bundled and read from the device; media is streamed from our host, which — like any web server — may keep an ordinary access log (IP address, time, file requested, user agent) for delivery and security. Those logs record which picture was fetched, never which answer you gave.
Advertising data, in the mobile app only. Described next.
Advertising
The iOS and Android apps show ads supplied by Google AdMob. We send Google nothing about your studying; the SDK collects its own data on the device in order to choose and measure an ad. That typically includes an advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), your IP address, device model and operating system, coarse location derived from the IP, and whether an ad was seen or tapped.
Google acts as an independent controller for that data. What it collects and why is set out in Google's advertising privacy notice and the partner-sites policy.
You are asked first. Before the first ad request, the app shows Google's own consent form (the UMP SDK), which is required in the EEA and the UK. You can choose personalised ads, non-personalised ads, or withdraw consent — and you can change that decision at any time under *Settings → Advertising → Ad & privacy settings*. Withdrawing does not remove the ads; it limits what may be used to choose them.
On iOS the system additionally asks permission to track before any IDFA exists. Declining is respected and the app behaves identically. You can reset or clear the advertising identifier in your device settings whenever you like.
Where ads never appear: during an exam or practice session, in front of a score, or anywhere on the website.
No cookies, no profile of you
Znak sets no cookies. Its own local storage holds only the five items listed above, none of which is a personal identifier and none of which we can read. The advertising identifier described above belongs to the operating system rather than to this app — it is reset or cleared from your device settings, and it is never combined with anything you do while studying, because none of that is ever collected.
Legal basis
Your study data is not processed by us at all: it stays on your device and is never sent, so no legal basis is needed for it.
Advertising rests on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), collected through the form described above and withdrawable at any time. Ordinary server access logs for the app and its media rest on the legitimate interest in delivering and securing the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your rights
The GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and port your personal data, and to object to its processing. Since your study data exists only on your device, you can exercise erasure immediately and completely yourself: Settings → Data & storage → Erase all data, or by clearing this site's data in your browser, or by uninstalling the app.
For advertising, withdraw consent under Settings → Advertising → Ad & privacy settings, and reset or clear the advertising identifier in your device settings. Requests about data Google holds go to Google, which is the controller for it.
If you believe your rights have been breached you may complain to a supervisory authority — in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, in Poland the Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO), or the authority where you live.
Children
Znak is a study aid for people preparing for a Polish driving licence, where the minimum age is 14 for category AM and 17 or 18 for most others. It is not directed at children and is not listed in any store's children's category. We hold no data about anyone; if you believe a child's advertising data has been collected, write to us and we will pass it to Google, which holds it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and the current text always ships inside the app you are running. Material changes will be noted in the release notes.
